Today, our mission team continued to work on the two
construction projects we started yesterday. The “Pipe-Lay’n Mountain Climbers,”
transported and emplaced cinder blocks in order to build a water basin for the
family up on a hill. The dig team continued to dig and work on the foundation
of a family’s new home. Those that did not go to out to the two different
construction sites stayed at the 'Casa Guadalupe' home in order to assist the
Friars with a program they run for children every Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday.

After running the water pipe up to the top of the hill (yesterday), today's project consisted of building a water basin for Pablo's family. In Honduras, running water is intermittent, therefore families require basins in order to collect water for cooking, cleaning, etc throughout the day. |
